It's time for 2022 Player Evaluations!
Players in the following age divisions do NOT participate in player evaluations: 3/4, 5/6, and 15-18. Players in 15-18 will participate in a team creation process in early March.
ALL players in ages 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, and 13/14 MUST attend ONE of the scheduled evaluation dates.
Evaluations will be held on Saturday, January 8th and Saturday, January 15th.
Please attend ONE ONLY.
Check in will begin 30 minutes prior to each evaluation time. Each player must check in, and then will be directed to their field. Evaluations provide an opportunity for coaches to meet and assess players. After evaluations, coaches will use this information to draft balanced teams.
Parents, you do not need to do anything to prepare your child for evaluations.
Every child is placed on a team!
Please have your child wear baseball-appropriate attire (baseball or athletic pants, cleats, hat)
Please be sure your child brings:
* jacket or sweatshirt
* water bottle
* glove
* any other baseball gear your child may need
We HIGHLY recommend bringing a helmet and bat.
If your child is a catcher, please bring your gear for catcher's evaluations. We will NOT be providing catcher's gear during evaluations.
Players will be evaluated on:
* fly balls
* ground balls
* hitting
* running
* pitching (Note: Players MUST be evaluated on pitching to be eligible to pitch in the 2022 season!)
* if applicable, catching (Reminder: Players evaluating as catchers must bring their own gear to wear.)
The 8th Inning Snack Bar will be open with a limited menu of drinks and packaged snacks!
